Mamangun.lawyer is the online presence of LMJA Law Firm, headed by Atty. Rainier Mamangun. 2. Personal data we collect

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

3. How and why we use your data

1. Legal advice and representation: to evaluate and act on your matter.
   
   

2. Client management: invoicing, conflict checks, and file maintenance (records kept at least five years after matter closure, mirroring Philippine legal-practice norms).
   
   

3. Site analytics: to measure traffic patterns and improve content. Analytics reports contain aggregated statistics only.
   
   

4. Regulatory compliance: responding to lawful requests from courts, regulators, or the National Privacy Commission.

4. Sharing of data

Personal data is shared only when:

• Required to perform the services you request (for example, with accredited courier services when documents must be delivered).

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Matter files, correspondence, and billing records are retained for minimum 5 years or longer if Philippine regulations require. Website analytics logs are kept for 12 months then anonymised.

8. Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act you may:

• Object to processing or request erasure when legally permissible.

9. Cross-border transfers

Where service providers located outside the Philippines receive your data (for example, cloud-hosting in Singapore), we ensure contractual safeguards consistent with Section 21 of the Data Privacy Act and the National Privacy Commission’s Circular 16-01 on Cross-Border Data Transfer.

10. Third-party links

Our site may link to external resources (for example, law journals). We do not control the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.

11. Updates to this policy

We may revise this notice from time to time. The “Effective” date at the top will change with every revision. Substantive changes will be highlighted on our homepage for at least 14 days after posting.
